Profile
Ellen’s passion for art began at the age of 12 when she first started to attend art openings at her family’s gallery, Poulsen Galleries, in Pasadena, California. Ever since her first meetings with artists and their patrons her goal has been to educate others on the importance of art in our every day lives. Ellen is the fourth generation to work in the gallery, opened by her great-grandparents in 1927, joining her mother, Marcia Osterkamp, and grandfather, James Haddad. In July of 2003 she joined her mother and grandfather as member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).
